With more than 1.2 million members in 33,000+ clubs worldwide, we are proud to be a member chapter of Rotary International – the world’s first service club organization. 

Founded in 1986, the Rotary Club of Deerwood was chartered with the goal of becoming the preeminent service club in Jacksonville. From the beginning, the club was determined to remain small but comprised of influential people who could make a significant impact in the community.  

The club established Deerwood Rotary Charities Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, as its vehicle for raising and distributing funds to support youth-focused causes. All operational expenses of the club are completely funded by members' dues, separate and apart from Deerwood Charities.  We pride ourselves on our ability as an organization to multiply and compound every dollar raised with members' individual contributions, members' in-kind contributions and solicitation of in-kind contributions from other entities in the community.
